Year End Letter 2025

Greetings from Path,

The work of pregnancy centers remains difficult, despite the laws that we have in Idaho to protect life. Abortion medication is now more accessible than it was before Roe vs. Wade was overturned. Surgical abortions are available just across the border and we know that many women in Idaho are traveling to Oregon for these purposes. Continue Reading

May we all feel God’s presence this Christmas as we celebrate God’s ultimate gift, the birth of Jesus! The birth of our Savior is another reminder of how precious every life truly is. As we serve women and families facing complex circumstances, they don’t always realize the simple truth; that God has a plan and purpose for the life of their unborn child. Continue Reading

We would like to take this opportunity to celebrate the success of our 2025 Heart of the Matter event that happened on Friday, October 3rd. The sold-out event was a huge success, featuring a large silent auction, wine pull, and delicious dinner at the Allen Noble Hall of Fame at Boise State. We received a lot of positive feedback from this evening, and we are truly grateful for God’s provision with every aspect.

One highlight of the evening was the premier of Path’s new video… Continue Reading

This month marks three years since the Dobbs decision overturned Roe v. Wade. At the time, there were many unknowns, including how this decision would impact Path. We quickly learned that our services are needed more than ever before, and that centers like ours would be a pro-life safety net for women facing the complexities of an unplanned pregnancy. Path’s focus statement for 2025 comes from the book of Ephesians: “And also for me, that words may be given to me in opening my mouth boldly to proclaim the mystery of the gospel, for which I am an ambassador in chains, that I may declare boldly, as I ought to speak.” Ephesians 6:19-20 Many of our clients find themselves chained to destructive patterns, behaviors, relationships, etc. However, any of us can be bound by these things without the truth and hope of the gospel. 2024 Annual Report

2024 was a year of steady growth, sobering challenges, and multiple God moments. We saw many abortion vulnerable clients who were facing difficult situations and complicated circumstances. We helped families who lacked insurance and other resources to get the pregnancy related support they needed. We dealt with the reality that abortion medication is easily accessible to women in Idaho, in spite of our laws. However, we also had countless divine appointments where women chose life, and their stories were forever changed.

Hope. Care. Confidence. These have always been the key components that we want our clients to receive when they come to Path for help and support. When Treasure Valley Path first opened their doors in September of 2016, it was the culmination of many years of diligent prayer and much waiting. God had assembled a small team with a large vision. There have been many changes in the last couple of years, but Path’s focus remains to provide services and support to women facing an unplanned pregnancy. Recently there have been a few well-meaning organizations that have produced misleading data claiming that only a handful of medically necessary abortions occurred in Idaho last year. Path’s focus statement for 2024 comes from the book of James: “But the wisdom that comes from heaven is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, open to reason, full of mercy and good fruits, impartial and sincere.” James 3:17 We can be tempted to spend our time, energy and resources in many different areas, but it is important that we stay true to our mission, which directly supports women and families. Have you heard the news that Path is expanding? Over the past few months, we have been laying the groundwork to open two new satellite locations in Nampa and Horseshoe Bend (HSB). The spiritual battle rages on one year after the Roe decision. We know that women are being referred out of state and many are still able to access abortion medication from a variety of sources. However, we are grateful to live in a state where our laws are protecting the lives of the unborn. One noteworthy change is that the former "trigger law"…Continue Reading

In its January decision, the Idaho State Supreme Court allowed the Trigger law to remain in effect, rejecting the argument that the Idaho State Constitution protects an unenumerated right to abortion. David Ripley from Idaho Chooses Life, who helped write this law, said, “Yes, indeed, it is good news. It is a thorough rebuke of the notion that Idaho’s Constitution protects abortion.” Although we too celebrate this news, we know that our mission and work will continue as planned….Click to Continue Reading
